下学期居家网课及展延半年考通知

根据教育部于6月6日宣布，鉴于疫情严峻，学校6月13日年中假期结束后继续进行居家网课学习；网课于6月14日至7月16日（共25天），直到第二学期7月份学校假期前结束。

2. 本校决定展延半年大考并转为线上考试。线上半年大考将于7月7日（星期三）至7月13日（星期二）为期5天进行，以作为学生开学至今的学习评估。教务处将在近期内公布关于线上半年大考的时间表、考试细则与规则，敬请垂注。

3. 请尚未完成补交上学期网课请假信函以及功课的同学，在6月18日前透过Google Classroom或在线应用程序呈交给相关科任老师。

4. 下学期网课期间，同学们仍必须按照学校所安排的网课时间表准时出席每一堂网课，并且自律、自主地学习，维持良好的学习习惯。

5. 疫情期间，大家好好照顾安全与健康，共同抗疫。

Notice of home-based online classes for the next semester and the extension of the mid-year exam

According to the announcement by the Ministry of Education on 6 June, in view of the severe pandemic situation, the school will continue to conduct home-based online lessons after the mid-year holidays on 13 June; online lessons will continue from 14 June to 16 July (a total of 25 days) until The second semester ends before the school holiday in July.

2. The school decided to postpone the mid-year exam and switch to an online exam. The online exam will be conducted for 5 days from 7 July (Wednesday) to 13 July (Tuesday) to serve as an assessment of students’ learning since the beginning of the school year. The Academic Department will announce the timetable, examination rules and rules for the online exam soon, kindly please pay attention.

3. Students who have not yet completed the online lessons leave letter and homework, submit it to the relevant subject teachers through Google Classroom or online applications before 18 June.

4. During the next semester’s online classes, students must still attend each online class on time according to the online class schedule arranged by the school, and learn to be self-discipline, study autonomously and maintain good learning habits.

5月3日返校上课

本校谨此通知，全体学生将于2021年5月3日（星期一）返校上课。

2. 返校上课须知：

请学生全程佩戴口罩，鼓励自备免洗洗手液 ( HAND SANITIZER )返校上课。
请学生记得佩戴学生证，并于 7:00am至7:45am之间到校刷卡，同时检测体温方可进入校园。

3. 请家长们注意，若孩子有不适、咳嗽、发烧、呼吸困难等症状或家庭成员进行隔离中，请勿来校，以策安全。请假者请通知班导师。

4. 校园防疫，时刻谨记。戴好口罩、保持人身安全距离、勤洗手，务必遵守防疫措施，以维护大家的健康与安全。

2. Instructions for returning to school:

Students must wear a mask throughout the classes, and bring their own hand sanitizer to school.
Please remember to wear your student ID, swipe your card at the school between 7:00am and 7:45am, and check your body temperature before entering the school compound.

3. Parents are reminded that if the child has symptoms such as discomfort, cough, fever, difficulty in breathing, or having family members who are in isolation, please do not come to school for safety. Please notify the form teacher to apply for leave.

近日，金宝陆续出现新冠肺炎确诊病例，本校以师生的安全及健康为首要考量，议决下周继续进行网课，以助阻断金宝的疫情传播链。

本校将于4月19日（一）至4月23日（五），再进行为期一个星期的网课。

The school is placing the safety and health of our teachers and students as our utmost priority, hence, the school has decided to continue online classes next week to help to break the chain of transmission.

日前，本校学生曾接触过新冠肺炎确诊者，在告知学校后，他们已立即进行自我隔离，皆无到校上课。与此同时，他们也做了检测，结果皆为阴性，证实他们并未受到感染。故，本校特此郑重声明，本校并无人确诊。

2. 近日，校方和家长一直保持联系，得知不少家长因顾虑孩子的安全而决定让孩子缺课。基于多重考量，我们更为重视师生们的健康及安全。然而，本校无法兼顾实体课和网课。故此，本校决定安排网课，希望学生及家长能够谅解和配合。

3. 校方决定在 4 月 15 日及 16 日（星期四和五），先进行网课。而下星期一（4 月 19 日），是否返校上课，将另行通知。

Notice of home-based online learning for all students in the school

A few days ago, the students of our school had been in contact with people who were diagnosed with Covid 19. After informing the school, they had immediately self-quarantined and none of them attended school. At the same time, they were tested and the results were all negative, confirming that they were not infected. Therefore, our school hereby solemnly declares that no one has been diagnosed in our school.

2. Recently, the school has been in contact with parents and learned that many parents have decided to let their children absent from school because of concerns about their children’s safety. Based on multiple considerations, we value more to the health and safety of teachers and students. However our school does not have the ability to conduct both physical and online classes together. Therefore, our school has decided to arrange online classes, hoping that students and parents can understand and cooperate.

日前，本校有数位学生曾接触过新冠肺炎确诊者，但他们已第一时间通知校方，也没有到校上课，并在家进行隔离。与此同时，这些学生已进行了检测，结果为“Not Detected”，他们并未受到感染。

2. 为了确保本校师生的安全及健康，学校将停课两天（13/4（星期二）至14/4（星期三）），并进行全面消毒工作。

3. 本校将会持续跟进师生们的健康状态。为了自己和家人的安全，请好好待在家。

全体师生返校上课

根据教育部于2月19日宣布，中学部各级学生将于4月5日（星期一）返校上课，全体教师恢复实体课教学。

2. 全体学生上课时间为早上7点45分之前到学校，下午3点20分放学。而今年本校上课日为五天制（星期一至星期五）。

3. 复课后，师生必须遵守学校发布的校园防疫措施及复课指南，本校呼吁家长叮嘱孩子必须戴上口罩上学，以照顾大家的健康，并共同维护安全的校园，尽早适应后疫情的校园生活新常态。

培元独中：新生说明会及开学典礼

2021年1月20日，培元独中校长与行政主任们进行了线上“新生说明会”，与新生和家长在线上会面。刘婉冰校长欢迎56位初一新生到来就读，她呼吁新生说，新的学年、新的起点、要以新的心态迎接上了中学的转变与差异，因上课方式已从原本到学校面对面的实体课转向网上学习，这样的改变，同学们的心态必须要调整好。刘校长叮咛新生学好三件事情：

“第一，学会管理自己；第二，不让人担心；第三，学会自我学习。”

刘校长希望同学们在这段居家学习的日子里都能从容、自律地上网课，同时，规划好这新学年的学习目标，让自己更充实、更进步。

推行多元人文教育冀成就孩子以学为乐

（金宝15日讯）金宝培元独中为了迎合时代的变迁及配合现代教育的发展，2021年学校开学从六天双周休上课制改为五天制上课日，以改进和优化目前教育制度。

教师有充裕时间备课与培训

刘婉冰校长指出，学校实行五天制是未来趋势发展，也是符合现代教学新纲要的需求及顺应未来教育概念，让教师有充裕的时间备课、做课件和应付繁重的课业。现在办教育不只是意味照书授课，教师也必须与时并进不断加强知识点教学以及规划活动且引导学生活学活用及强化教学质量。同时，也以评估的方式评估学生学习能力，以达多元化评量教学。

为了维持教师教学素质，学校规定每个月的第一周六教师必须到学校进行备课，以确保教师之间拥有充裕的时间共同备课，加强教学规划及分享心得；同时，学校也将安排培训课及讲座等，以提升教学品质。

去年因新冠疫情已五天制上课日

在去年三月中旬，因新冠疫情学校停课直到 6 月 24 日高三级先复课，而其他级别在 7 月 22 日全面复课；为配合教育部的指令，学校上课日就改为五天制，教师都认为有多一天的时间，培养教师团体共同学习体，准备教学课件与资料，能提升教学品质。

学生有充分时间休息或加紧练习

实行五天制可以让学生在放学后拥有更多的休息空间，尽早回家完成作业及维系亲子感情，而不要在结束一天的课程后继续以疲惫的身心进行训练。她希望学生可以在一个精神充沛的状态下进行训练，因此学校的团体如华乐团、武术团、铜乐队、扯铃队、舞蹈学会等才艺课外活动将在周六回校加紧练习，以达高效集中训练。

节数分配充足

实行五天制后，全体学生的放学时间为下午3时20分。刘校长表示不意味会减少上课时间，相反的更考验教师如何在有限的时间内传达精准的教学内容。顺应未来教育概念，该校教师现以多媒体辅助教学，改变传统“教师讲课学生听”的方式，期望引导学生活学活用，塑造学生自主、多元的思维。

学生参与学校大型活动，培养六育均衡发展

学校五天制后，只有各大型活动安排在星期六，当天将列为上课日；如：运动会、义跑、义卖会、家长日、校园开放日、校庆等，此举主要是培养学生身心六育德、智、体、群、美、劳之均衡发展，以达我校成人成才的教育方针。

事关：一月份学杂费

学校于2021年1月20日（星期三）如期开课，全体学生都得居家上网课。网课期间，学生必须按照校方所规定的网课时间表准时上网课。

2. 本校征收学生学杂费，即一月份至十一月份，全年共征收11个月的学杂费。

3. 因为疫情因素，相信对家庭经济带来影响，为此，本校执行董事体恤经济有困难的家长，决定允许家长以书面或电邮的方式向校方提出一月份学杂费减半（50%）的申请，以缓解家长的经济负担。

4. 家长的申请函从即日开始至2021年2月8日（星期一）之间亲临或通过学校的电邮 (email) 交给校方。（信件注明孩子的姓名、班级）

5. 培元独中是非盈利机构，每年不敷的经费是全靠华社的支持及董事们无私的捐献，校务才能维系发展，望家长能体谅学校的决定。
